General Hospital fans have been watching with excitement this week as so many things have gone down. So far we’ve watched Nina and Obrecht hold Peter captive. They aren’t done with him and with what they have planned for his future, and they will not be held back in terms of what they plan on doing to him in the future. Right now there are plenty of people looking for him, but probably not for any good reason. They have to keep this their own secret, and they’re doing a good job of it thus far. We do, however, think that Valentin is going to realize that his wife has everything to do with this at some point in the near future — and won’t like it.
And then there is the fact that Nelle is now threatened. Sonny has paid her a visit — and it was a good one for fans to see this week. He’s made it very, very crystal clear to her that there is nothing in her book that will win against his own. He’s also made it clear to her that she can keep playing her games, but she will never beat him and his family. She’s now been properly threatened, and we are enjoying watching her fear and panic as she realizes just what is happening in her life.

What’s Going on in Port Charles?
Soap opera alum Robert Mandan has passed. We discussed this in our Days news, too, but it turns out that the actor was also a pivotal part of the General Hospital family as well. He was the honorable (we say that loosely in the soap world) Judge Bryant in 2006. He had some pivotal moments in the show, made some friends and enemies, and had a good time with the cast when he was present. He’s now gone at the age of 86. It’s been more than a month since he passed, and his passing was only just recently announced. He was suffering from a longtime illness he did not disclose to the world before his passing, which just goes to show how much he valued his own privacy.
We also hear that there is going to be another familiar face showing up in town in the coming days as Days of Our Lives actor James read is cast on General Hospital. He’s going to show up this week to portray Chase and Finn’s father, and we can only imagine that he’s not pleased with either of them at this point. It should be a good cast.

Finn will do anything in his power to support Anna. He’s loved her since they began this mission, even if it did not end or begin the way he thought it might. They’ve had their ups and downs, he’s had his moments with other women, and they are finding their way back to one another right now. We’ve heard in the not so distant future that perhaps he will make it his mission to stay with her, but for now they are going to be there for one another. Today he will support his friend Anna. She’s grieving so many things that have happened in her life. She found her son, but she’s known him a long time, she lost her son because he’s being held captive and she doesn’t have a clue where he is. Her life is a mess, but he will continue to support her.
Even when his own father shows up in town, he will continue to support Anna. She will also find that she has other people in her life who will support her, too, but she’s really going to need their support here as she decides to come clean about all the secrets she’s been keeping and the life she’s been living. Finally, we are going to see Nina continue to work very hard to let Liesl know she’s not happy that she’s been made part of her crime. She cannot figure a way out of this one, and she’s not looking forward to being associated with what happened to Peter.
