General Hospital fans know that Carly is on the brink. She’s not crazy, but most of the people in her life think she is. They think that she pushed Nelle down a flight of stairs and put her baby’s life at risk and her life in the hospital. She did not do this, and she is not crazy. Nelle has been working long and hard on a plan that would make it feel like she is crazy and that her friends and family would begin to wonder if she was sane. And it’s been working. She’s been able to get them to fall in line with her ideas and with her plan, and now she’s going to have to change her thinking to get this situation to fall in her own hands.
Carly, however, is going to snap. She’s done. She’s not going to take any chances that she will not get things accomplished. She’s got to spend her life working on things that are meant to be, and she’s not going to be able to do that without the help of her friend Jason. She’s going to get her situation together and make it work, but not without his help. She might actually snap, first, though. She’s having a hard time, and no one believes in her. She’s struggling with that more than anything else that’s going on in her life. How can they believe she would do something like this to her own grandchild? She would never.
Carly is beside herself with torture. Her friends, her family, and even her own husband all feel that she’s been lying to them. They think she’s gone crazy, and there is a good chance she might just do that without a second thought. She’s not going to find that they can do much about it, but they can help her out if they put their minds to it and stop thinking of her as a crazy person.
