Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few years, you will all recognize the talented Maisie Williams from her role as Arya Stark from the hit HBO series ‘Game of Thrones‘. Since the long running series is about to make its end very soon, many are wondering what is next for the stars of the show, including Maisie Williams. Luckily, we have been able to find some of the next projects that are in the works for Maisie Williams, and it looks like we won’t be missing the talented actress any time soon. ‘Early Man’
Technically, this film was already released a few months ago at the beginning of 2018. ‘Early Man’ is a stop motion animated film that is centered around a comedic and sporty genre of film, so to speak. Maisie voiced the role of Goona, and also starred alongside the talents of Tom Hiddleston and Eddie Redmayne as well.
‘Departures’
There is not much known quite yet about this film, as it is still in post production, but it is set to be released sometime within 2018. The film focuses around a hypochondriac working in an airport who must begin to face his fears in order to help a young woman with a terminal illness complete the items that she has on her bucket list. The film stars Maisie in the role of Skye, and it sounds like it is going to be one great movie.
‘The New Mutants’
Finally, one of the biggest projects that involved Williams is set to be coming to theaters in the fall of 2019. It is called ‘The New Mutants’ and is set to be a horror film in the superhero realm that we are all to familiar with. It is based around the Marvel Comic team of heroes with the same titular name. From the sounds of its, it appears as though the film is going to be the first installment of a trilogy of films around the same concept; It is also considered to be the thirteenth installment of the popular ‘X-men’ films that have made their mark throughout the years. Maisie is playing the role of Rahne Sinclair/Wolfsbane, and she has the ability to turn into a wolf. The film is also in post production as of now.
