Young and the Restless fans know Hilary is going to through a lot right now, and that’s not unusual. She seems to put herself into situations that don’t really benefit her in the least. She’s always in someone else’s business. She’s always working to take people down rather than help them. She’s always looking to make sure people have a chance to be used, and she’s rarely focused on the way good things work for her. She’s not going to find that things are going easily for her, but we can’t help but assume she will make things worse for herself.
As she’s going through things right now, we will see Phyllis stand up for her. It seems like an odd situation, but it’s a situation. She will stand up for Hilary and tell a lot of people that she feels that Hilary isn’t the worst and she’s not always involved in the things they want to see her involved in. It’s not always something that she can handle, but Phyllis can be a good friend.
She can also be someone who knows how to use people to her own advantage. And if she can stand up for Hilary, perhaps she can make her feel that she owes her something in return. And this might all be part of a bigger plan that she might not be afraid to cash in at some point. She’s not going to let this situation get out of her control, and we respect that.
