General Hospital fans will eventually see that Drew really only feels that he has Curtis as this point. He’s of the opinion that Curtis might just be the only person there for him, and he has to find a way to make his life work like this. He’s going to open up to Curtis about what he really wants, though we aren’t even sure what he really wants. We don’t know if there is anything he needs or wants that might make him question his own sanity, and we don’t know if there is a chance that he can have it.
He’s already hurt Sam by taking off. And he’s not sure he can be with her knowing that she wants to be with both him and with Jason. Her feelings are conflicted, and he’s not all right with that. It’s not abnormal for him to feel this way. His wife confessed that she has feelings for another man, and that’s something very hurtful for any man to hear. And that’s harsh.
But their situation is not like any other situation that anyone else understands. This is something so utterly confusing and crazy and upsetting, and we think that he might consider that, too. She’s not just arbitrarily looking to have feelings for another man. She’s got feelings for another man because that other man is her husband and her husband is a brainwashed imposter. He’s opening up, though, and we might learn more from that and him.
