Corey Feldman is not having a great life right now. Apparently he was admitted to the hospital where the LAPD soon found out that he didn’t have any visible lacerations. Unfortunately for Feldman the ‘stabbing’ seems to have been a scare tactic that may or may not have had something to do with the mentions of child abuse that Feldman has been trying to get brought to light for a while now. Since the passing of his friend Corey Haim and the unfortunately unfounded allegations of child abuse that went on when the two of them were both child stars Feldman had done what he could to just get by, but recently he’s become very outspoken about the encounters and it would seem that perhaps someone is trying to tell him to back off.
What’s really unfortunate for Feldman however is that this matter and the manner in which he’s going about it have left him to appear unhinged and less than reputable when it comes to making his case. For a while now he’s been seen as little more than an eccentric, former actor that has finally decided to speak on something that happened years ago. Unlike those with the Weinstein scandal and every other woman that has come forth since however Feldman’s story is being continually buried and he continues to come off looking like someone that’s merely seeking attention due to a failed career. To be quite honest he hasn’t done much of anything since his days as a teenager and his attempt at becoming big music star haven’t really panned out. It seems way too dismissive to paint him as a madman that’s telling stories, but at this point when he checks into a hospital without anything more than a traumatic story and no visible wounds it doesn’t make him look all that great.
As a child star Feldman was a lot of fun to watch since he was funny and had a great sense of humor. But had anyone known what was going on behind the scenes they might not have laughed as much. With so many reports from different actors on what went down at various parties that the kids attended with the adults it makes one a little sick to think about what some of these kids had to go through. Of course if you ask certain people they might deny that any of it ever really happened because, well, no one will willingly admit to something like that. Instead both Haim and Feldman were continually discredited for their stories as the years went on, and Haim would eventually fall into a deep addition to drugs that he had to struggle to get out of. But again, if you asked certain people about this you would get a completely different story. It’s not so much that people don’t want to believe Feldman’s story, it’s more to the point that he isn’t going about telling it in the right manner.
If he wants to expose what happened to him and Haim all those years ago he needs to be smarter about it.
