Michael Vartan is an actor you’ve likely seen more than once and should be able to remember. He’s usually the suave kind of guy that either doesn’t realize he’s that way or plays off of it like only he can. His looks have managed to get him a role before and yet he doesn’t bank on them as much as people might think. Vartan is a hard-working individual that loves being in movies vs. TV since the hours are better and there’s a little more freedom in not knowing when your next job will be. Some people might find that disturbing but to an actor it seems like a way of life.
If that’s how a person wants to live then so be it, but it does seem kind of uncertain.
5. At one time he wanted to be a professional pool player.
He used to play pool for 12 hours a day at one time. Vartan did this for 5 years in his attempt to become a professional pool player. There’s no real record of why he changed his mind and decided to become an actor but it’s a safe bet that he’s pretty good on the table at this point after all that practice. There’s money to be made in pool, but players have to be on their game continually.
4. He plays hockey whenever he can.
Michael is an avid sports fan and loves hockey. It’s no doubt a great hobby and pastime when he’s not working that he gets to enjoy whenever possible. It’s important for anyone to have something to turn to when they’re not working that can calm them down and let them enjoy life. Sports especially are great since they help to keep a person in shape and let them have fun.
3. He’s a big Star Wars fan.
Specifically Star Wars: A New Hope. Apparently Michael watched the movie so often during a single summer that he had every line memorized and could recite the movie by memory alone. That’s pretty impressive really, but it would seem that if he does like the rest of the franchise he didn’t take the time to do the same with the other movies.
2. He’s not into wearing a lot of bling.
Some guys get into the rings, the chains, the bracelets, and everything else, but not Michael. He doesn’t feel that he can pull the look off since he thinks that he looks ridiculous. It’s true that some guys just can’t pull of the look of having rings on every finger, chains draped around their necks, diamonds glittering from wherever they’re placed, and other such fashion accessories that some men enjoy wearing. He looks just fine as he is really.
1. He turned down a role in Scream 3
This was undoubtedly a very wise move on his part since the Scream franchise started going downhill with the second movie no matter what anyone says. Somehow a Scream 4 got made, and then a TV series got made, but really none of it has equaled the first movie, which was more than enough.
Michael Vartan is just a simple kind of guy that likes what he does.
