Young and the Restless fans know that Hilary and Mariah aren’t exactly friends. After all, Hilary was not happy when Mariah was dating Devon, her own ex-husband, and she worked hard to hurt her like never before not that long ago. However, now that Hilary’s life is in shambles and everything is falling apart around her, she’s going to turn to Mariah for a very unexpected friendship. Mariah will — we don’t know why — comfort her and try and make her feel better.
Devon not only has a new friend to spend his time with, he’s also turned on Hilary. He gave Lily and Cane the information that she was the one behind all that happened, and this has crushed her friendship with Cane and his baby. She was wrong — and she knows it. But it’s too late for her to fix this after all the lies and the horrible things she did.
She now has Mariah to help her get through this, but she’s also going to worry about things turning around in other ways, too. She has to, for example, figure out what is going on with Lily. She’s looking for revenge for the pain and suffering Hilary caused her family, and she’s not going to do anything to stop herself from getting what she’s looking for. Lily suffered hard — and Hilary was the root cause of that problem. She’s unhappy about it, and she’s not stopping until she finds a way to make her pay for all she did.
