The latest news out of Disney is that they are currently being sued by Chilean singer Jaime Ciero. Ciero claims that the mega corporation stole the famous song, “Let it Go,” as appears in the hit animation film “Frozen.” The lawsuit also names Demi Lovato, the recording artist who sang and recorded the song as well as Idina Menzel, who sang the son in the movie. If you’re not familiar with Chilean music, you may not have heard of Jaime Ciero yet, but we think that his name is going to more well known in the near future. Here are five things that you didn’t know about the singer.
He is the writer of “Volar”
“Volar” is a song that the Chilean writer penned and sings in his repertoire of music. The song was previously recorded several years prior to the creation of “Frozen” and the song in question. When you listen to one, then the other, there are a few similarities, but there are also differences. Could it just be a coincidence that there are resemblances? We’ll soon know if they are alike enough to constitute any type of a copyright infringement as the case is headed for the courtroom.
Ciero is a famous singer in International circles
For those of us who haven’t yet heard of Jaime Ciero, he’s gained his share of fame and fortune with a music career as singer and songwriter that has attracted millions of fans throughout the world. He’s hit multiple music charts, achieving top status with his music. He’s not new to the music industry and although not billed or as well-known in the United States, he’s big in South America.
He started his professional music as a child

Jaime’s father and uncle are also both composers. It was from them that he learned how to play acoustic guitar and got his flair for songwriting. At 16 years of age, he learned to play the electronic bass. He began arranging songs as well as serving as orchestra conductor by the age of 17. He studied music as well as teaching himself how to sing He had a good start from his early family life because of the influence of his uncle and father.
Jaime moved from Chile to Los Angeles, California
Ciero became a big sensation in Chile as well as in other parts of the world. He had the opportunity to lead the Philharmonic Orchestra concert in 2001 and earned the distinction of becoming the firstconductor to lead the band without a formal education in the discipline, He then moved to L.A. because there were new challenges awaiting him. He assisted in writing the soundtrack for the movie “My Big Fat Liar,” starring Paul Giamatti and Frankie Muniz.
