The latest news out of Disney is that they are currently being sued by Chilean singer Jaime Ciero. Ciero claims that the mega corporation stole the famous song, “Let it Go,” as appears in the hit animation film “Frozen.” The lawsuit also names Demi Lovato, the recording artist who sang and recorded the song as well as Idina Menzel, who sang the son in the movie. If you’re not familiar with Chilean music, you may not have heard of Jaime Ciero yet, but we think that his name is going to more well known in the near future. Here are five things that you didn’t know about the singer.

He is the writer of “Volar”

“Volar” is a song that the Chilean writer penned and sings in his repertoire of music. The song was previously recorded several years prior to the creation of “Frozen” and the song in question. When you listen to one, then the other, there are a few similarities, but there are also differences. Could it just be a coincidence that there are resemblances? We’ll soon know if they are alike enough to constitute any type of a copyright infringement as the case is headed for the courtroom.

Ciero is a famous singer in International circles
