We have barely a week before The Curse of Oak Island premieres the fifth season and everyone is eagerly waiting to see what the show will have to offer. This is usually the feeling when a good show takes long before coming back on air, and in the period it has been off different reviews and opinions about what to expect next have been penned. But most of them have not specifically highlighted the things to really feature in the first two episodes. To bring you up to speed with what you will get when the show returns, here are the first two Curse of Oak Island season 5 episode descriptions revealed.
A two-hour special
As the show premieres on November 7, it will bring out a two-hour special that will show a dive initiated as trouble unfolds. Rick and Marty Lagina will go out on an engineering mission that is described as an ambitious operation that is meant to locate the Money Pit. This is a renewal of efforts as their earlier attempt to unearth where the Money Pit was hidden fails. According to the trailers, the brothers in the end locate the original Money Pit in this very season. In addition to locating the Money Pit, there are several other finds that include some bone or spike, a stone fragment, and a coin. Also in the description of the show is a hint that points to the possibility of the team getting hit by a huge loss that is thought to be the demise of the son of Craig Tester early in the year.
Second episode
The second episode is scheduled to air on November 14 and according to the description, in this episode a treasure chest that dates back to the 1700s is located and this helps to give hint to the possibility of pirates having visited the island. Marty and Rick are also issued with news about a discovery regarding the Money Pit.
As gotten from the trailers, Alex, the son of Marty, is seen opening a chest. But its looks don’t confirm it had been buried in the ground, so its source remains hidden until one watches the episode in full. Also in the second episode is the highlight of the team uncovering three keys as well as more chests. One of the keys is seen being examined by Rick and it does appear to be different from the one Alex used while opening the chest.
Accidents
In this season of the Curse of Oak Islands, there are also accidents that will take place. There is a scene in which someone is blasted by a high-pressure hose that runs out of control. Some footage also shows the arrival of an ambulance on the island. In another scene, Rick is seen inspecting the inside of a cave and there is also some separate footage that includes something that appears to be a Templar that cross etches into a wall. For the rest of the show, we will have to be patient to learn about what will really feature as more trailers are released.
