Days of Our Lives fans are just heartbroken for Eric. We weren’t pulling for him initially when he and Nicole were spending all that time together. We really liked her with Brady, he was dying, things weren’t going well, he does have her exes heart in his body, and we really liked where it was going. But then Brady wasn’t dying, he was getting a little crazy, and we were reminded so many times of what was between Nicole and Eric so many years ago. We are torn.
And then Brady started threatening her and issuing some insane ultimatums and we were basically done with him. In a matter of weeks, we watched as our alliances turned from Brady to Eric and back again, and now we are seeing his heart broken as Brady ran her out of town with her daughter. She isn’t with either of them now, but that’s how he wants it.
Eric is crushed, and he’s had such a rough few years, it breaks our hearts. Can he get over this and move on with his own life so that he has a chance to find happiness again? Will he leave eventually to go back to her? Will she come back? Is there any chance they have a shot at happiness or will we see nothing more than their love fall apart and things not work out for them even in the future? And can Eric and Brady ever overcome this with one another?
