Five of the Most Memorable First Kisses in Television Show History

That first kiss is one of the most important milestones in your childhood or adolescence, or even in your adult years. It’s the turning point when girls are no longer gross, boys are no longer yucky, and the fairer sex has finally grabbed your attention. You feel different. You feel wonderful. And more importantly, you feel a certain way that’s not sexual, but definitely interested. At that point in your life you feel like you’ve taken a step into a different world you never knew existed. Watching it on TV you can almost remember your first kiss, and just what it meant to you back then. Hopefully it was something magical.

Here are a few other first kisses that might make you remember.

5. Wonder Years – Kevin and Winnie

This relationship was kind of on again and off again as the show went on it seemed. They liked each other, they didn’t, they liked each other again and so on and so forth. It was the awkward feeling of being kids and yet growing up day by day that brought them closer together and then pulled them apart again. Yet somehow Kevin and Winnie just always seemed to be there for each other no matter what.

4. The Office – Jim and Pam

How do you respond to someone telling you that they love you when the feelings you have aren’t one hundred percent sure. Pam might want to but she’s so stuck in her own head that it takes a monumental move on Jim’s part to actually get her in the mindset that he is there for her and won’t ever leave. Even as adults sometimes it seems like we can’t just say what we mean at times.

3. Friends – Chandler and Monica

This was kind of bound to happen. The group has been friends for so long that it was either time to move on from one another or make those connections work. Best friends are great, but eventually there must be something else or there must be a parting of the ways for at least a little while. Ross wasn’t too happy about it obviously, but Ross wasn’t happy about a lot of things.

2. Frasier – Niles and Daphne

If you didn’t see this coming throughout the history of the show then you really weren’t paying attention. Niles has been trying to get with Daphne more than once throughout the history of the show. Niles is even willing to leave a woman that he just married in order to be with Daphne. Is this crazy, or is it something that should have already happened?

1. Game of Thrones – John and Ygritte

You know nothing Jon Snow. If that wasn’t made more than apparent more than once during the first few seasons of the show then it’s become a mantra ever since. He might be King in the North at this point, but back then he just barely knew how to kiss a woman. Of course Ygritte wasn’t really complaining, as she obviously wanted him more than she would let on at times.

That first kiss is unusually special for many people, and it’s memorable for most.
