Supporting actors help to make good movies even better. They help to set the mood and move the story ahead, and even interject humor where it’s needed. These may be small roles compared to the lead featuring mega-stars, but they have their place and without them, some of the grandness of the films would be lost. Some stories actually highlight the lives of the doormen, making them the main focus of the film. The majority of doormen are standing by at the entrance of posh hotels, ready to assist new arrivals and they can help to set the tone of the movie with just a few well placed lines.
Here are the top five doormen from movies we won’t forget.
