If you haven’t seen the trailer for the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok film then you’re fairly alone since it was one of the most highly viewed movie trailers of all-time. To be honest I have no clue how this movie is going to turn out because I never claim to predict the quality of a movie based on a trailer. However, if I were to base a movie’s quality on a trailer then I’d say we’re in for an awfully lovely treat.
The movie looks action packed, funny as hell, and if there was ever a good use of Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” (aside from The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) it was in this particular trailer. Bottom line is that Thor: Ragnarok looks pretty amazing (so far), and this Led Zeppelin-inspired parody (calling back to the Ragnarok trailer) is funny and dumb in just the right ways.
