Young and the Restless spoilers are in for the week, and we might be in for more than just a few small surprises. It turns out that Ashley is not wrong to suspect her mother, Dina, wants something with her grand return to town, her big television announcement, and her seemingly nosy means of reconciling with her kids. She hurt them both a lot, and they don’t want anything to do with her. They were happier when she left town and never came back. But it turns out that things aren’t always what they seem. Rumor has it she’s dying and wants to make things right with her kids before it happens.
She’s always been the type of woman who watches out for herself and herself alone — and no one knows her any differently. She abandoned her entire family to take off for Paris many years ago, and they haven’t forgiven her. Even when their father died, she didn’t come home to be with her kids. Now she’s back and she wants to become part of their lives, and the rumor mill is saying it’s because she’s terminal and wants to make some things right.
Can Ashley, Jack, and Traci find a way to make up with their mother, or is it too late? She’s not been part of their life in so long, and there seems to be little to no chance it can turn around. We will see her continue to work on them, and we will see plenty of discussion between them as to what they should do about their mother. Will the truth come out sooner or later?
