No one knows better than Oliver Queen that desperate times call for desperate measures. With all of his friends and family captured and taken to the very place where Oliver’s journey started, the Green Arrow turns to the one person he never thought he would-his enemy. Arrow concludes Oliver’s five-year journey from broken vigilante to hero by bringing him full circle. Not only does this mean returning to the infamous island of Lian Yu, but also recruiting his former enemies for help. Oliver never had a greater enemy than fan favorite Slade Wilson, but will his former friend betray him once again?
When someone kidnaps your child, all bets are off. Oliver is now willing to do whatever it takes, align himself with whoever necessary, to get everyone he loves back. This means asking the man who murdered his mother for help. But what can Oliver offer Slade in return that would be worth the risk? How does Slade respond to Oliver’s offer? Coincidentally, it’s the one thing they have in common which convinces Oliver this tenuous alliance just might work. Protecting, and possibly getting to know his son, is great motivation for Oliver. This is something he couldn’t have understood ten years ago when his journey first began. Now he knows, and hopes applying the same motivation to Slade will make the difference.
