The world is still reeling from the death of Chris Cornell who at the age of 52 took his own life. Tributes to the fallen singer and musician have been pouring in on social media and it’s safe to say it’s going to take a very long time for the music industry to recuperate from the tragedy.
If there’s one thing that Cornell was known for and will forever be known for, it’s having one of the most wide ranging voices in the history of any singer ever. He had a 4 octave range and any time Cornell would hit a high note fans and even peers were mesmerized.
While his vocals were emphasized in nearly every song he sang, someone just edited the song “Black Hole Sun” so that all we actually hear are Cornell’s vocals. This has never been done before and when you hear it you’ll most certainly get the chills. This is outstanding.
