General Hospital fans are not surprised to hear that Martina has been fired as the lawyer representing Carly in her divorce. She’s totally on Sonny’s side, she’s working with him, and Carly was a little less than thrilled to realize they were friendly before she hired her, so she fired her. Now these two get to spend a little more quality time together since half the conflict of interest in their situation is removed from the equation. So it turns out that Sonny and Martina are going to spend a lot more quality time together as their interest in one another heats up to a significant point. They aren’t afraid to explore this and see where it’s going to go, and we wonder how far it will go.
The problem is that Carly could still cause some issues for Martina if she decides to take what she knows about this couple to the board, and she might just do that. So for now they must keep their relationship on the down low. Let’s face it; it’s not a great decision on Martina’s part to get involved with a known mob boss when she’s a brand-new attorney in town and he has such an interesting reputation. Not only is he a well-known criminal about town, she is an attorney. It does not bode well for them to spend this kind of time together, and she’s got a lot to worry about.
Will Carly go out of her way to make trouble for them? There is always a chance, since she currently hates her husband more than anyone in the world, but they are about to put their differences aside. As soon as they find out what Ava did, they’re about to forget their hatred for one another and really get down into the issues plaguing them. It’s going to be a serious issue for them, and there is a chance they might just get to calm down a bit and try not to hurt one another anymore. They probably won’t get back together as a couple, but could they become friends again over this?
