If you are a parent or just anyone that’s gotten older and you used to live in New York City you’re going to love this video. The first few seconds or so I was thinking to myself, “this is going to be lame” but after the very first bar I knew it was going to be amazing. The Holderness Family captures exactly what it’s like to be a parent and go out on a night on the town without your kids in New York City.
What’s even better is that this particular family doesn’t even live in New York anymore so their excitement to visit is amplified times ten. What should be a crazy night out of drinking, dancing, and partying, will inevitably be one of the most vanilla, non exciting, and typical nights out of anyone who is over the age of 35 who has two kids or more.
Kudos to this couple for getting it absolutely right with their lyrics. This video should have way more views.
