If you think I or anyone else for that matter is even close to letting up on the LaVar and Lonzo Ball talk then you’d be very much mistaken. I cannot think of one person in the entire universe that’s rooting for Lonzo Ball to make it in the NBA other than LaVar Ball. I’ll bet you even his brothers silently wish he fails. Add Dick Vitale to the lost of Ball doubters when Vitale took to Twitter to give Lonzo a serious burn last night.

This is response to Balls’ terrible 10 point performance when UCLA got tossed from the tourney and De’Aaron Fox dropping 39 right into his grill. All I can say is that you make your own bed so you have to lie in it. Lonzo should be distancing himself from his father right now but he hasn’t and that makes him equally as guilty for this whole charade. Anything short of Ball being an NBA superstar will result in what I’d consider to be a colossal failure given the hype his father has drummed up. It’s going to be awfully hard to live up to anything close to what’s being said (by his dad only).
And when it comes to people wanting him to fail, there’s no better reaction to Lonzo Ball eventually failing (assuming he does) than this tweet.
