So we know the reason why Tom Brady didn’t go to the White House today. It was because of “personal matters” but all of us know that means he is still distancing himself from any association with Donald Trump. But there’s another member of the Patriots team who was all about a White House visit today. That member is lovable man-child Rob Gronkowski. It’s also completely evident why “Gronk” was there. It sure as hell wasn’t to see the President of the United States.
It was to pop in and crash a White House Press Briefing right in the middle of Sean Spicer saying whatever he was saying
“Need some help?” said the big tight end. Spicer said, “no thanks, I think I got this.” The press in the room couldn’t help but laugh hysterically and even Spicer himself said, “alright, that was cool.” I wonder at what point in Rob Gronkowski’s career this stuff will ever get old. Right now he’s still young and we’re eating it up. But can he be in his late 30s and do this stuff? For now I think we all just need to revel in how awesome this guy is.
