7 More Despicable Things You Didn’t Know United Airlines Has Done

By now all of you have heard about the incident on United Airlines.  If you haven’t here’s a quick review.   One of their recent flights was overbooked and the airline requested that one of the passengers get off the plane.  This passenger happened to be a doctor and needed to be on that particular flight so that he could work at a hospital the next day.   The passenger refused to get off the plane.  United then send in two security guards and some other guy who literally dragged this man off the plane.

But the man wasn’t just dragged.  His face was beaten up pretty badly and he was nearly unconscious as he was being dragged off.  The entire thing was documented on video and passengers are seen and heard in the background screaming and saying things like “what are you doing?!?!?”  I personally don’t understand why a passenger didn’t step and do something other than speaking but it doesn’t excuse the incredibly harsh way the situation was handled.

Since this time a full investigation has been launched in the matter.  In addition the stock for United Airlines has tanked.  But even more is a slew of stories about United Airlines and their poor treatment of passengers.   Here are some more things you might not have known about United Airlines with articles to back it up:
