NFL Quarterbacks and relationships with celebrities generally don’t yield the greatest results. The only true exception is Tom Brady and it’s because I’m convinced Tom Brady isn’t 100% human. Plus Gisele, while attractive, has to be a great woman. There’s no other explanation. Look at Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson. That was a complete disaster. Now take Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn. Rodgers has still be an elite quarterback but where’s the playoff wins? Where are the Super Bowls? Needless to say fans of the Packers are pretty excited at this news:
Olivia Munn and Aaron Rodgers have split. “They have amicably ended their relationship of three years,” a source close to the situation confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. The source says the couple “remains close friends and wish nothing but the best for each other moving forward.” The actress, 36, and Green Bay Packers quarterback, 33, began dating at the end of 2014. Munn and Rodgers’ breakup comes two months after the couple fueled engagement rumors in January when she was spotted wearing a diamond sparkler on her left-hand ring finger.
Packers fans had zero shame in expressing pure joy at this breakup. Here are some Twitter reactions:

Let’s admit it IS likely (as many above tweets say) he will do better at his job when single (ask Chesney or Ben Gibbard).
As for Olivia, fans are happy for the same reason they like any breakup: They think they have a shot. If she’s unhappy, she only need look back at herself on talk shows: Discussing her family & the way they bossed Aaron around on “Conan”, or the engagement that wasn’t (discussed twice, I believe) with Colbert.
