Tell us how you really feel Sean Hannity. This guy pulled no punches in his response to an appearance he made on CBS with Ted Koppel. In Hannity’s defense Ted Koppel publicly humiliated him by saying in front of cameras that Hannity was “Bad For America.” Last night was Hannity’s chance to return the favor and he most certainly did. According to The Wrap
“We discussed in great detail why there is such a great divide in America in politics and in media. Now, in my honest opinion the exchange was actually a very good, substantive give and take,” Hannity said.
The Fox News host said that from a 45-minute interview, CBS only aired only 70 seconds. In the footage that aired, Koppel called Hannity “bad for America” and criticized opinion-based cable news programing.
“I guess people like Ted Koppel feel you, the America people, can’t distinguish between opinion and news,” Hannity said. “Beyond this interview being a total waste of my time, it is a flagrant example of what I call edited, fake news.”
FOX News host Bill O’Reilly demanded than entire transcript of the interview get released. So far there’s no comment from CBS on this. Right now it’s hard to determine how much truth there is with Hannity. Did the interview really last 45 minutes? If so, why did CBS edit it so much? Hannity’s clearly not looking to make friends with Ted Koppel and his segment last night didn’t help matters much.
