I was trying to hold off on commenting about this stupid fight fiasco but in reality none of it makes sense, at all. Sure it’s fun to think of these guys squaring off in the ring. And sure it’s fun to hear Mayweather talk a ton of trash but what perplexes me most is the fact that no one’s really talking about the fact that McGregor would absolutely pummel Mayweather in a real fight. All this talk about boxing boxing boxing. Mayweather’s been a boxer his entire career and started as a child. McGregor’s been a boxer never. Of course Mayweather would win a boxing match.
If I’m McGregor I hit back at Mayweather telling him that if he’s a real man he’ll do an “anything goes” type of a fight. Both these guys are loaded already so they don’t need money. Both have tons of pride. But I have to say it’s getting a little old for Mayweather to be talking trash when in reality he has no shot at beating McGregor unless it’s boxing rules which frankly I think is pathetic.
I don’t know, maybe it’s not that simple but yeah, it is. McGregor needs to go on the offensive and remind the world just how badly he’d beat Mayweather in ANY circumstance other than a boxing match. It’s just funny that the ONLY way Mayweather will fight McGregor is by boxing and having boxing only rules.
Just stop promoting this thing already. It’s pointless.
