While the world might not want to read this, Andy Gray, writer for Sports Illustrated, shed some light on the Charles Oakley MSG incident on his Facebook account last night. Apparently Gray is friends with a number of people who were sitting a row in front of Oakley the night of the incident. From what they’re telling him, Oakley was well more than buzzed and was apparently being belligerent to waitresses and ushers for a very long time before the escalated James Dolan incident. I bring this up because even I, a Knicks fan, don’t care.
Charles Oakley is the best thing to happen to Madison Square garden in the last 15 years. No one likes James Dolan so perhaps this is the spark needed to move the franchise in the right direction. Celebrities and athletes are 100 percent behind Charles and are not in favor of him getting a lifetime ban from the Garden.
T.I. is the latest celebrity to come out in support of Oakley even suggesting a boycott of the Garden until the ban is lifted. Here’s what he tweeted last night:
If HE can’t go. WE ain’t goin!!! #OGOakley pic.twitter.com/2So7iPpN8W

Also, have you ever seen the Garden this pumped up in the last decade? No chance.
