I understand that Beauty and the Beast is under a massive marketing campaign right now. But don’t you think someone would have double checked to see if their dolls looked like former Presidents? This isn’t being racist. This isn’t having a political agenda. This is 100% fact. This Belle doll looks incredibly like Barack Obama. I mean I’m looking at this thing and I’m expecting it to talk to me in Obama’s voice. If Barack Obama wanted to buy some twisted doll of himself, this is what he’d buy.
Someone please tell me where this doll can be purchased because I’d like to buy all of them and burn them so I don’t have nightmares tonight. I found this picture on Reddit and I’m officially haunted by it. What was the creator of this doll thinking? Woman power? I want people to associate Belle with a President?
There has to be a story or explanation behind this. I bet it winds up that this was all some kind of a hoax. I just refuse to believe someone gave this doll the OK. Emma Watson has to be either crying or laughing right now.
