Bruce Springsteen Trolls Donald Trump Australia Call with a Song

You may have heard about Trump’s latest gaffe in foreign relations.  Apparently Donald Trump had a conversation with Australia’s prime minister Malcolm Turnbull that ended in a “not so nice” way.  Australia is one of the United States’s stanchest allies and somehow our President managed to threaten Australia.  Turnbull denies that the phone call ended abruptly but that has stopped the internet from going wild about the call.  Speaking of which, even entertainers are calling out Donald Trump.

The Boss himself,  Bruce Springsteen happens to be touring in Melbourne, Australia right now.  He decided to open his show with a familiar song.  Springsteen opened his show in Melbourne, Australia, with an acoustic cover of The Orlons’ 1962 song “Don’t Hang Up” on Thursday.   “We stand before you, embarrassed Americans tonight … we’re going to use this [song] to send a letter back home,” Springsteen said.

Springsteen has been using his tour in Australia to share much of his aggravation with Trump as well as show support for Women’s Marches around the world.  We’ve yet to hear from Donald Trump but something tells me that a tweet is imminent.  What’s he going to say this time?  “Bruce Springsteen….so overrated.”  Yeah, that seems about right.
