It feels like “reunion” week for some of Hollywood’s greatest classics. Earlier in the week the Malfoy father son pair of Jason Isaacs and Tom Felton took an awesome reunion pic shot at Universal in Orlando. Yesterday we saw a great shot of Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Ann Moss, and Laurence Fishburne at the John Wick sequel premiere. Today? Dominic Monaghan recently reunited with the gang from “Lord of the Rings” and he shared a few photos of the reunion on Instagram. Although the cast have put their days on Middle-Earth behind them, it looks like they were thrilled to be together once again.
Each of them have gone on to continue their own successful careers. Monaghan, who played Merry in the LOTR movies is in the midst of filming three movies and was on the show Quantum Break in 2016. Viggo Mortensen continues to act in movies. Elijah wood has taken to television. Orlando Bloom is, well, Orlando Bloom.
But again, it appears these guys decided to relax at a restaurant and have some fun with the cutlery in these “action packed” pose. No reason to think any kind of movie reunion will take place but it’s nice to see these guys having fun in real life. There are a couple more photos below.
