As Game of Thrones season 7 gets closer to its premiere date, the amount of speculation out there has risen exponentially. The two big news items as of late are when the actual premiere date is and Maisie Williams giving away some finale information.
According to The Sun, the “Game of Thrones” IMDb page was updated on Wednesday. Seasons 7 and 8 were added to an episode guide on the page, along with a premiere date for the upcoming season. Fans screen grabbed the web page before the mistake, which revealed a tentative June 25, 2017 release date, could be corrected. No episode titles or other proposed air dates were revealed on the site. HBO has not responded to the alleged leak.
As for other spoilers that are occurring, Maisie Williams recently teased fans about a season ending cliffhanger. Williams tells Timout London that one of her plans may involve getting a new tattoo if Arya makes it to Game of Thrones Season 8.
“There are rumors that if you make it from Season 1 to Season 8 there’s a tattoo that we all get,” she explained. “We’re all waiting to see if we do make it. I was lucky enough to be in Season 1, even the pilot episode. If I do make it to Season 8, I will get it. It would be rude not to!”
According to the Inquistr: The actress seemed to spoil that Arya would appear in Season 8 when she appeared on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw. While giving vague hints about Game of Thrones Season 7, she told the show’s host that she hadn’t yet received Season 8 scripts, but that she would – which indicates Arya survives to see the show’s final season.
As for how Season 7 ends? Williams simply stated “A huge cliffhanger.”
We’re already talking about how season 7 ends and season 8? How about a trailer first people?
