General Hospital is more exciting than ever now that Alexis has gone off the deep end with her drinking. She’s been working so hard to stay clean for so long, and now she’s in a place that isn’t working for her. She gets drunk, and she’s babysitting. That’s a terrible combination. Now she’s going to spend some of her time making more mistakes than ever before, and we hear she’s going to start a deadly fire. Not just any fire; a fire while she’s in the midst of babysitting. What this means is she’s going to make some mistakes that costs someone their life. Is it the child she’s babysitting? She’s watching Danny, and now we wonder if he will make it through the fire, or if she will be able to get it together quickly enough to save his life when she causes such a terrible tragedy.
When Sam finds out her mother passed out drunk while she was making cookies with her own son, she loses her mind. We hear that Danny will survive what happens, but he will inhale enough smoke that things become more dangerous. What happens now is up to Sam. Will she fight for her mother, or will she ignore her from this point forward? Now she knows her mom is lying to her about her sobriety, and there are more issues to work out than ever before. What we know is Sam’s not going to be happy her mother put her son’s life at risk, or that her mother is lying to her.
All we can hope is that this is the wake-up call Alexis needs to get her back on track. However, we have a suspicion Valentin isn’t going to allow that. His sister is in trouble, and we think he might have a fondness for that. If she’s outcast by her own family, perhaps she will turn to him in hopes he can form a better relationship with her and cause her to turn against the rest of the family along with him. We don’t know, but we have some suspicion this is the overall plan.
