What happens if your man found defective condoms and started panicking about a possible child on the way? Yep, that’s what occurred in this week’s episode of Baby Daddy. There will also be some light eye for an eye action, but we’ll get to that later in this review.
The episode opens with the guys playing poker. Instead of chips, they use Ben’s condoms because according to him, if the guys want to get laid, he has to get paid. Danny then discovered that all of the unused condoms have holes in them (thanks to Emma, who poked said holes using one of Bonnie’s earrings in the previous episode). Panic breaks out as the guys figure out what to do. In the words of Emma: Uh oh.
Tucker then came up with the brilliant idea to make the ladies take a saliva test to see if they’re pregnant or not. On a side note, does that work? If so, why do women bother peeing on a stick? Ben, Danny, and Tucker then tried to take samples from their respective girlfriends. Ben tricked Sam into eating a foul-tasting hors d’oeuvres and Danny tried to swab Riley’s mouth as she slept. Both plans backfired as Sam didn’t spit out the hors d’oeuvres right away and the cotton swab fell into Riley’s throat, almost choking her.
The ladies, after finding out from Bonnie that the condoms had holes in them, all took a pregnancy test at the bar’s back office. When the tests came back negative, the girls wanted to celebrate with a drink. Sam opened Ben’s desk drawer, pulled out a half bottle of whiskey and saw a box of the saliva pregnancy test beside it. Wanting to teach the guys a lesson, Riley suggested that they fake their pregnancies and watch their boyfriends panic. Revenge truly is a dish best served cold.
Later, the guys decide to redo the poker game and this time; they will invite the girls to join them. They will find out about the condoms together, and that will be that, right? Think again. Danny, in a spur of desperation, blurted out the truth about the condoms and how the girls are now pregnant. Riley then explained that her, Sam and Renee are not with child. Sam was right, the only symptoms they have is dating a bunch of idiots. Though it’s not entirely their fault for not figuring out that their girlfriends are lying to get back at them for not telling the truth. What if the girls ended up being pregnant? What then?
In the end, children became the deal breaker between Ben and Sam. The latter said she doesn’t see herself having a child while Ben wanted more kids. It would be nice for Emma to have a little sister or brother to play with, but I guess Sam doesn’t see it that way. Sorry, Ben.
