I Photograph Trees During Foggy Mornings In The Netherlands

I love to photograph trees during foggy mornings in The Netherlands. Walking around with my camera when everyone is still sleeping gives me this great feeling of peace. I forget everything around me and all that’s left are me, my camera and the landscape.

These mornings tend to happen in spring and late summer. A lot of photos in these series were made during the heather season in August. In August all these heather plants turn purple giving everything that extra touch of magic. But I love to photograph these trees every season. The fog adds a unique atmosphere to everything and always makes me think I am walking in a fairytale.
