Everyone’s psyched about the upcoming film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 but do you know everything there is to know about Guardians of the Galaxy? I highly doubt it. Turns out there are plenty of things that will surprise you and things that might help you out leading into the sequel. For example, did you know that Vin Diesel had to record the line “I am Groot” over 1000 times for the movie? How about this one? Remember Dave Bautista in the film?
It took the makeup articles over five hours daily to do makeup and apply prosthetic tattoo pieces on Dave Bautista. Chris Pratt revealed during the process, Bautista stood the entire time, with hands holding onto rails which had tennis balls on them, with no complaints whatsoever. Eventually the process was narrowed down to an average of 3 hours, while 90 minutes were required to remove the makeup. Now that’s some serious dedication right there!
