Malia finally came clean about the secret romance she’s been having. This was something that viewers were anxious to find out about and and they saved it for the wrap up episode for the season. The drama has been intense and it leaves us wondering what could possibly be next for the show.

Now that Wes knows
Deckhand Malia White and chef Adam Glick had a secret that not even producers knew about. In fact, not a soul involved in the project was let in on the news. It wasn’t until half-way through last season that producers made the discovery and Wes just recently found out. It was Adam who spilled the beans by showing Wes the text messages that the two had exchanged.

Now we have Wes and Adam who are both in a fair amount of distress over Malia’s indiscretions and other heartbreaking behaviors. Adam felt like he had to make Wes aware of the kind of person that she really is. He exacted his revenge on her by making the revelation about their affair. Wes confronted Malia without mincing words, but this wasn’t the extent of the drama. She admitted to Wes that she knew Adam previously.
Where will the show go from here?
Bravo is in charge of whether or not the spinoff will come back for a third season. We’ve not heard word of a cancellation just yet, but neither has a third season been confirmed. Without a renewal, the future of the show is unclear. In the event that Bravo does order a third season, it leaves us wondering which cast members will be back. As of today, none of the cast has indicated that they are returning, but there will be a special episode airing on August 15th of this year.
Premiere of Below Deck Mediterranean
The crew will gather for a reunion in this special episode. It’s important to keep in mind that this is not a kickoff of season 3, or at least, not that anyone cares to confirm. What we know about it, is that they will all have a discussion with Andy Cohen about the pros and cons of the adventures they had together in the second season. It will be a type of recap that shows the network still has the cast in their sights.
If season 3 moves ahead
We’ve been told that the rigid lifestyle for the crew involving no sex or alcohol is a fairly confining life. There is no doubt that this in itself leads to the development of drama. These folks need to have some outlets to express themselves. Should the series be approved for a third season, we’ve been told that the boss has relented a bit and has consented to allow a bit more debauchery on the open sea. We an expect to see more action and some new stories unfolding if the show returns.
