While Saturday nights are usually thin when it comes to new shows, you can always count on Star Wars Rebels to be part of the lineup. The Disney XD show has a new episode called “Legacy of Mandalore” airing tonight. The last time the show aired was actually a month ago so fans will be happy to see a follow up to “Trials of the Darksaber.” In this clip from the Star Wars Rebels episode “Legacy of Mandalore,” Sabine arrives on her homeworld with something unexpected…
According to Heavy: Sabine will be returning to Clan Wren in the hopes of enlisting her mother’s help to rally Mandalore against the Empire and join the Rebellion. This will be no easy task, since even her own mother thinks that she is a traitor for her role in building an Imperial weapon to hurt Mandalorians and then running away. Of course, Sabine didn’t know the Empire was going to use the weapon she designed against her own people, who are now loyal to the Empire.
Amidst all of the Star Wars movie hype, people seem to forget they can get their animated Star Wars fix on cable, and through streaming. While I’m as excited as the next guy for a Han Solo movie and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, this show can certainly tide me over for a while.
