I’m not sure who you were going to the movies with in 1976 but you’d be one lucky person if it was with this kid. I wasn’t alive in 1976 so I have no clue what going to the theater was like. But I do know a cool kid when I see one and this might be the coolest kid in the history of Harlem. If you think that I think this because of the sunglasses you’d only be partially right. From the looks of it the kid is sporting shell top Adidas sneakers.
And you cannot mess with that jumpsuit or is it even a jumpsuit? Look at the crease on those pants! Dare I say slack with those white kicks? To top it all off the kid is holding one of those tiny cartons of milk. Plus, is he leaning on some kind of police barrier? If anyone out there knows who this kid is and what he’s up to today we’re going to need a “then and now” identical shot as this.
He’d probably be around 50-55 years old right now. I’m making it my mission to find this guy and will be inviting him to the movies.
