Young and the Restless fans are not surprised that this week began the way it did after last week ended the way that it did. It was a messy week for so many people with the wedding being such a mess and everyone learning a secret that changed a lot of lives. For one, Summer is hit with a very unhappy moment this week when she realizes that reality might not be even close to what she feels it should be or needs to be. She’s not happy when she finds out that the is her situation. Nor were we at all surprised when we saw Rey immediately jump to attention to make sure that Sharon feels much better about all that happened in her life. She should have gotten married last week. Instead, her daughter told her that her husband-to-be slept with someone else — the mother of his daughter — a few weeks before, and that threw things off course for her.
Now Rey is right there to comfort her in her moment of need. And then there is the fac that Ashley is celebrating the simple fact that things are finally going her way and she’s getting what she wants. This is good for her, but it’s not good for Billy. Bill, on the other hand, is not happy. He is just not happy to find out that his new fiancé was sleeping with Nick. Even if it was just once and they were technically on a break when it happened, things did not go well for her or for them. There is nothing that Phyllis can do right now to convince him that this was just a big mistake and that it meant nothing to them other than just looking for a little relief from some of the big issues she was going through.

Well, we cannot say we are surprised by any of this. He made his bed, with Phyllis in it, and now he has to lie in it. The great news is that he can probably find Phyllis to keep him company now that they are both single again. They messed up. They know it. And they did nothing about it even when they knew there were others in on their little secret. Shame, shame.

Victoria and Nikki are not at all surprised that a man in their family would cheat on the woman he is about to marry, but Nick’s problems are less than their own problems. This mother and daughter duo is going to sit down and have a serious conversation about the way things are going in the meantime, and we think that they will have to find some answers. They have issues to work out, they’re lying for one another, and they have Victor on their minds. He’s not someone who doesn’t know what’s going on in most situations, and this is going to become a problem for them before it all gets better. If he’s not already aware that they are covering for one another, he will be. They have to get this under control.
Furthermore, there is another chance that there will be some romance. We think that Neil is looking for happiness, and he’s convinced it’s with Ashley. While we do love seeing them together, we do think that they are going to have some issues since she’s leaving the show. We have very mixed feelings about that because we know she’s going. But we will focus on what will happen today between Lolo and Kyle. There will be some sort of miscommunication, and we have to wonder if Summer will use this to her advantage? Is there a chance she will take this and run with it, or will she sit back and allow them to just focus on other things and what they mean to her?
