John Cena was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night to promote his new FOX competition series, American Grit. However, he had to show his own type of grit when he faced off against Fallon in a game of Sticky Balls.
So what exactly is Sticky Balls? Well, aside from being the very awkward name of a Tonight Show game that immature individuals, such as myself, will laugh at, it’s sort of like dodgeball. Competitors have 45 seconds to throw balls at each other, which stick to their Velcro suits, and the person who sticks the most balls onto his opponent’s suit wins the game.
After Cena and Fallon finish making jokes about the name of the game (you have to see Cena’s face after Fallon says that Sticky Balls could be some type of dessert that they’re making together), the two of them battle it out in an “intense” contest, even though neither one of them can stop laughing. It’s definitely a lot different than watching John Cena take on another wrestler in the WWE, that’s for sure.
