Holland Taylor Gushes About her Relationship to Sarah Paulson

In Hollywood, age gaps are common when it comes to relationships.  However, the relationship between Holland Taylor and Sarah Paulson is unique.  This age gap involves a same-sex relationship which while the subject of same-sex relationships isn’t new in Hollywood, one with a 32 year age gap is in fact “new.”  But that didn’t stop Holland Taylor from expressing her gratitude for the couple’s relationship this week.   Taylor recently appeared on the Sirius XM Sandyland with Sandra Bernhard Thursday, January 26 to talk about her career and life.  When asked about her relationship Holland had this to say:

“I must say it has to be part of what has to be the most wonderful thing in my life, is the whole embrace of this wonderful relationship which makes everything else makes sense,” she added. “I’m the luckiest person in the world. I can’t talk about my life today and not mention this wonderful love.”

Paulson and Holland first went public with their relationship in 2015 but at that time Holland was somewhat hesitant to talk about her relationship with the 42-year-old Paulson.  But shortly after that the couple began referencing each other.

“If my life choices had to be predicated based on what was expected of me from a community on either side, that’s going to make me feel really straitjacketed, and I don’t want to feel that,” Paulson said while discussing her sexuality with The New York Times in March. “What I can say absolutely is that I am in love, and that person happens to be Holland Taylor.”

Then in 2016 the American Crime Story actress gave Holland Taylor a shout out at the Emmy Awards.  “Hi, Holland – Holland Taylor, if you’re watching, I love you,” to which Taylor responded on Twitter ““If I’m watching…?? If I’m WATCHING??? YES, I’m watching—!!! good LORD! … I LOVE you!!!”

It’s truly nice to see how far Hollywood has come with regards to the openness of relationships.  Hopefully Paulson and Taylor are a model example for future same-sex relationships that have no age or gender boundaries in Hollywood.  True love is what it’s all about.
