General Hospital: Can Valentin and Jason Stop Jake?

General Hospital fans know that Jake is the one who has all the control right now, and no one seems to realize this. Laura is upset and discussing with Lulu that she heard from someone the magic set little Jake was given for his birthday came from Spencer. We all know Spencer is bad news. Now he has this magic set and bad things are happening. She’s going to tell Jason, and they’re going to do what they can to find out what is going on. They don’t think the gift did come from Spencer, because Laura knows that Spencer is saving the gift he has for Jake so he can give it to him when he comes to town.

Now that Jake is on the magic trick stand at the Ball, it turns out Valentin and Jason both suspect what it is and who might be behind it. He’s set to open the device right here and now, but will he? We hear Valentin yell for Jake to stop right now and not open the device. We hear Jason speak softly to his son. We see Jake look around at both men. And we see him hesitate. We know he’s been brainwashed and that Helena has all kinds of control over him even from the grave.

But will this work? Will they be able to stop what’s happening to this boy? Will they manage to talk him out of opening the device? We know he doesn’t really want to, but we don’t know what kind of control is had over him, and by whom. It’s all going down today.
