So this has gone from Wendy Walsh accusing Bill O’Reilly of sexual advances, to tons of advertisers laying off the show, to Fox now saying they will investigate Bill O’Reilly over these claims, and he’s still not fired? Not even suspended? Not even removed until this whole thing is straightened out? This all seems impossible to me. Either Bill O’Reilly has direct orders from the White House that is show is not to be canceled or him suspended or he has something over every single Fox News higher up. Otherwise there’s zero explanation as to why this guy is still on the air. I’m completely baffled.
Oh and P.S. more accusers are lining up to come out against Bill O’Reilly. You know who I’m waiting for to say something? Maureen E. McPhilmy. She HAS to know something. At some point this case is going to be blown wide open. Personally I think it’s a matter of time for O’Reilly to be completely shut down if not go to jail. In the meantime he’ll have stuff like this to contend with. Here’s what Wendy Walsh’s lawyer said today:
“This is not blowing over,” she said. “I think there are going to be more claims. Listen, think about coming out publicly, against Bill O’Reilly, who’s extremely wealthy, who has a huge megaphone to come after you. What’s the first thing that happened to my client, Wendy Walsh? She got a nasty letter from his attorney accusing her of defamation, threatening to sue her.
“Nobody should do it alone. They should certainly get an attorney to stand with them, but people are scared. They don’t want this in their lives. What women want are their careers and as far as I can tell, all of the women who have made complaints against Bill O’Reilly have been driven out. That’s the really scary thing for them.”
This guy’s going down.
