Debbe Dunning is an actress, model, and spokesperson who was born in Burbank, California, on August 11. 2003. She started her career modeling before switching to acting. Her first acting job was in an episode of ‘Dangerous Curves’ in 1988 followed by the small role of Rochelle in ‘Married….. with Children’ in 1990 and 1991. She then became famous for playing the role of Heidi Keppart in ‘Home Improvement’ between 1993 and 1999. It is for this role for which she is still best-known. During her time there, Dunning was a cheerleader. When she graduated, she was crowned the school’s Homecoming Queen and also won the title of ‘Miss Burbank 1984.’.
2. She is Married to Steve Timmons
Professional volleyball player Steve Timmons was Dunning’s long-term boyfriend and the couple finally married on May 11, 1997. By that time, the couple already had a daughter, Spencer Schae, who was born in the previous year. During her first pregnancy, Dunning was filming for ‘Home Improvement’ so the pregnancy was written into the script. Dunning and Timmons went on to have two sons; Stone was born in 2000 followed by Sysco in 2009. Steve Timmons represented the United States at three consecutive Summer Olympics.
3. She was Signed to the Judith Fontaine Modeling & Talent Agency
After she graduated from school, Debbe Dunning pursued a career in modeling and was signed to the Judith Fontaine Modeling & Talent Agency which is based in Los Angeles. At the beginning of her modeling career, she worked on numerous advertisements for Miller Beer. The first television commercial she landed was for Foot Locker. Another advert in which she appeared was for Ford Motors. She gained national exposure when she began appearing in television commercials for Taco Bell playing the role of Louise who was the ‘Run the Border Girl’.
4. She was on ‘American Gladiators’
For two years running, Debbe Dunning took part in the ‘American Gladiators Celebrity Challenge’. She won on both occasions so she was the reigning champion for two years. This television series was aired on Syndicate and involved celebrities taking part in a variety of athletic challenges.
5. She Was in ‘Now You Know’
Debbe Dunne has made several appearances in films. One of these was ‘Now You Know’. This was a 200t comedy film that was written and directed by Jeff Anderson who also starred in the film. It was produced by the Lumberyard production company. This was a low-budget movie that was made on approximately $380,000. Debbe Dunning played the role of the Sun Goddess. Others who starred in this movie included Todd Babcock, Earl Babcock, David Bosnak, Paget Brewster, and Anthony John Denison. This film was nominated for the Best Feature Film at the San Diego Film Festival in 2002.
