The Bold and the Beautiful fans are going to see that Katie and Wyatt are at odds. We’ve talked about it a bit this week in terms of the fact that Wyatt is so upset by what he’s learned about Bill. He’s already confronted his father about the fact that he was used, lied to, and made to believe lies that aren’t true. He is not happy to be an accomplice to what he’s doing to his brother and Steffy — and he won’t stand for it. However, Katie managed to convince him to do just that. She felt that they could benefit a bit from just sitting back and using this an opportunity to spend some time telling him that they can get Bill on their side more than they thought.
And now Wyatt’s guilt is too much. He can’t stand the thought that Steffy’s heart is broken like this and he might be able to stop it. He can’t stand that his brother is being involved in something that is such a blatant lie and that he chose his future based on a lie that was fed to Wyatt to end up in Liam’s ear. And he can’t stand that their father is winning — again. If Wyatt knows anything, it’s that it hurts when their father dictates to whom they can be married. It’s hurtful, and will not stand for it more than he already has. But this is only putting some strain on things between himself and Katie.
Katie is not happy that she’s asked him to do this, and she’s got a major case of guilt. But she’s also realized that this is a point in their own plan where they’ve come too far to come back and change things the way that she wants them changed. She’s not going to find things are going to work out for them yet. They have to get their situation under control, but they do have to get this to work out well for them. That means sticking to it and not letting it go at this point.
