The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that Ridge is not sure how to handle Quinn this week. She’s confessed she loves him, but his feelings are not the same. Except we aren’t sure that they aren’t entirely the same. He seems conflicted when it comes to her, and it seems as though he might have more feelings for her than he cares to admit, but he’s repaired his relationship with his father and now things seem a little too serious for him to contend with.
He’s now got his dad’s wife telling him she’s in love with him. Regardless how he feels, he’s doing the right thing telling her he can’t feel the same way about her. He knows Eric, his father, would be heartbroken if it came down to it, and he can’t handle being the one to cause that kind of hurt. He tells Quinn he doesn’t feel the same way, and they move on with their own lives with a little bit of clarity from this point forward.
There is no reason for Quinn to doubt Ridge, but it will crush her to hear that he doesn’t feel the same way. Now she can focus on her husband, but she’s still going to spend as much time with Ridge as she can. Perhaps this will encourage him to change his mind about her, and maybe he will finally open up to her about how he feels about her and their life together.
