We don’t know about the readers out there, but one of our favorite parts of films and television series are all the many bloopers and outtakes that you can watch. Even our favorite actors and actresses are human, with mistakes here or there, and they are absolutely hilarious to watch. It may be hard to imagine, but even back in the 1930s and 40s, film stars were making bloopers and having to deal with them while the cameras were rolling. Luckily for you, you can now watch these vintage blooper reels right on YouTube for hours of merriment and old time giggles.
The video that we are referring to offers you some of the best of the best when it comes to uncensored bloopers and outtakes from black and white films created in the ’30s and ’40s. Although some of the takes are a bit hard to make out, we can tell that during that time, film stars were all human as well. They made mistakes, and joked about those mistakes to help get them through the takes and create a great piece of art. You can also see that some of the actors take their outtakes more harshly, not wanting to joke about them, and even getting frustrated by them while cameras were still rolling. Either way, it makes for an entertaining hour and a half of vintage entertainment that you won’t often see nowadays.
