Big Brother Week 6 POV Ceremony Recap

Crazy came back to the Big Brother house, but once you think about it thoroughly, it never left in the first place.

We pick up from the Nomination Ceremony where Ragan is hurt that he is up for eviction, while Britney strongly feels that Brandon has an ulterior motive and that she is a part of it, albeit not in a good way. Brendon makes sure to let Lane know that he’s safe and the true target is Ragan, who thinks that Brendon is playing the game like a boorish idiot.

Brendon, Ragan, and Lane pick their Veto Competition teammates, which ended up being Kathy (Ragan), Enzo (Brendon), and Hayden (Lane). Brendon notices that with Matt and Britney not playing for the Veto, his options for a possible replacement are the cream of the crop for his revenge plan. This man is ridiculous, people.

The night before the competition, the Big Brother house is terrorized by the ZingBot, who makes fun of the Houseguests before becoming the host for the Veto Competition, which features having to put together four puzzles that spelled out each letter in the word ‘Veto’. Amidst the chaos of the turning wheel contraption and other factors, Ragan pulls out the victory in the competition, making Britney fear for her life in the process.

After the Veto Competition, Ragan (feeling super emotional) makes sure to tell Britney how much of a beautiful and kind-hearted person she is. I think he also said the same thing to Annie as well as Kristen. I’ve lost track this late in the game. Meanwhile, Hayden and Enzo start to form a little ‘showmance’ on their own as the two lugheads finally realize how much of a threat Matt is to them. “He’s the head of the snake,” Hayden announces to the Big Brother diary room about his (former?) Brigade member, with Britney, Ragan, and (possibly) Kathy as other parts of said snake. Does this mean we have seen the end of the Brigade? God, I hope so!

Brendon returns to his HOH room to find the Pandora’s Box sign on his door. He reads both messages, but it takes a video of Rachel in a bikini doing slow motion glamour poses to flip Brendon’s switch to open Pandora’s Box, which he thinks is a vacation away from the Big Brother house with Rachel. Not even close, people. As soon as Brendon leaves the house, the doorbell rings and everyone flies to the front door only to be greeted by the wickedness that is Rachel. “I’m back!”

The look on everyone’s face is completely classic, featuring a mix of shock and horror (Britney), disdain (Ragan), and amusement (The Brigade). Queen Rachel of Wretched announces that due to Brendon opening Pandora’s Box, she is the result of his deed for 24 hours. I think everyone would’ve rather been stepping on hot coals for 24 hours rather than this Hell. Rachel immediately starts tearing into Ragan, who doesn’t back down and meets her head on. Rachel makes it clear that she will give Ragan 24 hours of Hell and Ragan pretty much says bring it on. And Rachel does…

After discovering that Brendon has been locked out the house for 24 hours while Her Wretchedness is in the house, Rachel makes good on her promises to make Ragan’s life a living Hell, especially by asking him if being gay was the reason he was so mean. What happened to that classy girl who didn’t say those things, Rachel? However, what Rachel doesn’t count on is a man with balls who doesn’t put up with her crap. Ragan runs a triathlon around Rachel, whose only lame comeback is “Why don’t you insult me a little more?” when Ragan stuns her. After he tells Rachel about a thing called life, Ragan delivers the death blow in these words “So take it as a tip, and learn from it!” Ding! Stick a fork in her because she is done for the season, people.

Just to show you how serious it got, here’s a clip for your viewing pleasure:

Nice huh?

Before Rachel leaves, she leaves a message for Brendon written in pretzels that says “I <3 You. Matt” which insinuates who she wants Brendon to replace in the Veto Ceremony.

After the Rachel debacle, the Houseguests are disturbed by the Saboteur again who tells them that they best get a good night’s rest due to an important competition the next morning. Then throughout the night, the Saboteur appears to deliver messages, fading out after about thirty seconds to a minute on screen, making the Houseguests actually lose sleep due to them running to see what he had to say. In the final message, the Saboteur finally tells the Houseguests that there is NOT a competition and that he was just screwing with them. I thought that was the best out of all the Saboteur’s moves under Ragan’s reign.

It’s time for some scheming and Ragan tries to get Brendon to place Kathy up as the replacement nominee instead of Matt. Why Ragan didn’t try to get Enzo or Hayden on the block is beyond me, but I digress… Brendon weighs Ragan’s reasoning behind this move, but will he follow through with it?

Nope. Matt goes up on the block and I am all the more happy, because I know the crap will hit the fan tonight when Matt whips out that Diamond Power of Veto and sends the house into a tizzy. Will you be there for the potential meltdown? Let’s just hope it doesn’t reach Chima proportions…

Oh and CBS/Big Brother producers? Please don’t show us Rachel in the Big Brother house again until the finale. I know we have sequester clips, but let’s keep it at that, okay? Thanks!
