Is everyone ready for another episode of American Pickers?  For those of you who are unfamiliar with the show, it’s a sister show to the popular Pawn Stars which follows antique and collectible pickers Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz. The two travel around the United States to buy or “pick” various items for resale, for clients, or for their own personal collections.  The show’s been on since 2010 and has achieved great success.  Be sure to check out the trailer for the latest episode below.

But before we do that we wanted to get into the life of Frank Fritz.  Many people want to know just how much wealth he’s accumulated.  We’ve got that and another few facts about him below!

Frank started picking early

Frank started collecting rocks and beer cans as a kid. He worked for many years as a fire and safety inspector but always had a passion for antiques and junk. These days, he spends all his time on the road with Mike, digging for treasure in barns, garages and junkyards across America.

His nickname is “The bearded charmer.”

Even-tempered and affable, he has a way with potential sellers and a knack for putting out fires: Mike calls him the bearded charmer. Frank does get a little carried away, however, by anything with an engine, and Mike often has to talk him out of buying yet another motorbike for his collection.

His first profitable “pick”

Frank began buying items in the fire and safety industry. After he bought one item for $15 and sold it for $475, he thought he could make a living that way. He eventually shifted away from his fire safety work to focus on collecting antique and vintage items, co-founding the company

Frank Fritz’s Net Worth

From the popularity of the show to the two shops he and Mike are partnered in,  Frank Fritz is estimated to have a net worth of approximately $4 million.

Over 100 episodes

Season 6 began in October of 2013. As of this writing, the show has aired over 100 episodes over those six seasons and is still one of the most popular shows on the History Channel.
