Three Days of Our Lives Deaths that Still Make Us Cry

Days of Our Lives fans know that not every death on the show is a good one. We know that they will happen here and there, time and time again because that’s just how it goes, but they don’t always work for us. In fact, some of them are so down and out, so ugly, or so boring that we cannot even figure out what to do with them. There are some deaths that haunt us for many years. There are other deaths that don’t do much more than make us raise a brow and wonder how they happened. Basically, some deaths are just better than others, more dramatic, more heartbreaking. And then there are those that just don’t make much sense. Our favorites, however, have to be the ones that we didn’t see breaking our hearts quite the way they did. But, these are the ones that brought tears to our eyes.

Will

When Will was killed a few years ago, we didn’t think we would ever get over that loss. He’s a fan favorite. He is so good in his role. He made major changes to the world of daytime television, and his impact was so important to so many of us. But, we didn’t think that he would ever come back to us. we didn’t think that he would ever be part of the show again, and we did not think that we would ever get over his death. He was a son, a husband, a lover, and he was a father. He was a friend, too, and just about everyone in Salem was crushed by his death. We are so happy he is back.

Holly

What is more upsetting than when a child is killed? We were all horrified the day that this little girl was taken from her mother when she returned from the dead. We all thought that Nicole died in the fire when Brady saved Eric rather than saving Nicole, and Eric was unable to forgive Brady for saving him and not Nicole. It left a baby without a mother, and it left a man to care for a baby. He actually ended up giving the baby to Chloe, who is the woman who carried and birthed the child, too. The baby was taken from her, there was a car accident, and the baby was in the van. The van exploded and caught on fire, and we all cried tears of heartbreak and sadness. Nicole had only just come back from being held captive — not dead — and she’d yet to see her daughter after all that time. It was crushing to us as people, and we could not handle it in the least. Thankfully, the sweet girl was not dead, and it was all a ruse so that those awful people could do the things that they needed to do to get their own way.

Nicole

We know she didn’t die, but her fire death was heartbreaking for so many reasons. She and Eric had been chasing happiness with one another for so long, and they’d only just found it. She’d gotten away from Deimos and the horrible mess he put her. She was with her baby that she had so long ago and struggled to keep for so long. She wasn’t with Brady anymore. Eric was no longer addicted or in prison. Things were looking up for them, and then there was a fire. When Brady had a choice to make, he chose to save his brother rather than Nicole. To be fair, he couldn’t get to her and it was mostly too late for her, anyway. So, he grabbed Eric. His heartbreak over losing Nicole was too much for us to bear, and we couldn’t handle it. They were no longer going to find their happiness. There was a little girl who was no longer going to have a mother. There was so much heartbreak associated with this death that we could not even handle it for a moment. We were stunned, and we were so shocked when she did come back from the dead a few months later. We didn’t see that one coming, and we almost always see it coming.
