Days of Our Lives fans realize we only have a few more months left in this year. The end of the year is upon us, and we could not be more excited to see this year come to a close because of all the questions we have, the things we’d like to see, and the prospect of some change in Salem. We all feel that 2019 has been a beautiful year in so many ways, but we also feel that it’s been a year in which we have to find some closure on a few things. So, we thought we might bring this last Sunday of the month to a close with a few things we’d like to see happen now that September and the fall season are upon us. Here’s what we want to see out of the rest of the year.
Jack and Jennifer’s Happiness
These two. They’ve been through so much, and they are clearly meant for one another. But, will they see that after all that has happened to them this year since his return from the dead? Will they see it? Will the return of their daughter and her husband and their kids make them more of a match for one another since they have their family back together again? What might happen here, and how can we figure that out in a way that works for us? We hope, very much, to see this family come together. We want to see him end his marriage to Eve. We even want to see her head out of town and get her life together elsewhere, and we would like to see Jack and Jennifer use his newfound position within the community to do good things.
Hope and Rafe Reunited
Okay, so she did him so wrong. And they were in a bad place. But, we like to think that Hope was having a bit of a mental breakdown kind of year. She had a daughter almost killed several times, a granddaughter lose her sanity, a daughter who chose to date one of the most dangerous men in town after he was released from a mental hospital after murdering most of the people in town a few years ago. She had a rough time accepting all of those things. While we have not personally be in her situation in any of those manners, we can assume it was a difficult year for her to face those specific setbacks as they came her way. Maybe she can find it in herself to forgive him for the things she felt he did wrong and vice versa. We think it would be nice.
A Happy Ending for Eric and Nicole
Listen. This guy deserves a little happiness. It’s been his by the grasp of his fingertips more than once, and it’s been a situation for more than a while now. He needs to find love in her. He needs to find the happiness that they should have had so many years ago. And, it would help that her daughter is really alive and not dead and that they can all live happily ever after in some way. Is that too much to ask for? We aren’t sure, but we do think it’s possible for this couple to find this in their lives, their hearts, and their future.
A Changed Heart for Xander
Who doesn’t want to see this big old guy turn into a romantic and sweet bundle of love? He’s clearly got some big feelings for Sarah, and we have to be honest when we say we might just want to see them find some happiness and some love and some things that bring them together. We think he has more to him than just a desire to kill people and do horrible things, but he’s not been given a chance to make that happen. So, we’d like to see that happen. We’d like to see them make some positive changes. We’d like to see them in a good place with one another, and we’d like to see it right now. But, is that a bit too much to ask for? We don’t know, but it might be a helpful situation.
